Dave recently joined our team here at the Ohio Motorcycle Group in April of 2017 and brings with him experience and knowledge from a diversified background. Dave began his construction career immediately after graduating from Minerva High School in 1977. He worked his way to Journeyman status via Certified Apprentice Training Courses graduating in 1980 as a Journeyman Carpenter. Dave worked in the construction profession as a Carpenter, Millwright, and Welder until December of 1985.
At this time, Dave had an opportunity to broaden his skills and exposures by accepting a management position with a global leader in the manufacturing of refractory products. Dave started his career as a front-line supervisor and was able to expand his responsibilities to Production Manager with responsibilities for facility operations, scheduling, personnel, health and safety, and Quality Control.
An opportunity to move back into the construction industry came about in 1998 when Dave became the General Superintendent for a Northern Ohio based commercial construction company. This role had responsibility for all field operations, manning, equipment, costs, and general overview of all projects.
When the position of Property Manager for the Ohio Motorcycle Group became available Dave took the opportunity. It is not every day you get a chance to work in an industry that you have personal interest in, and it did not require much thought for Dave to make the move to the Ohio Motorcycle Group. Motorcycling has been a lifelong passion for him. His responsibilities include maintaining, repairing, remodeling, and developing all properties, maintenance and operation of mechanical systems such as plumbing, HVAC, and electrical, repair of fixtures and equipment, and routine maintenance in general.
